I am originally from Tennessee and moved to North Carolina in 2011. I have always enjoyed working with my hands–making art, cooking and most recently, farming. Over the last few years, I have also developed an interest in natural health. In 2012, I decided to return to school to study massage therapy and completed my coursework at Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, NC. Here I learned how to appreciate the way massage can affect the whole person–physically, emotionally and energetically. I have found this work to be profound and deeply rewarding.
In this profession, I am able to integrate the joy I find in working with my hands and working with others. As a massage therapist, I am also daily reminded of the value of taking care of oneself and the necessity of balance. It is my hope that I am able to not only provide temporary relief from stress but also offer support to others as they journey to find greater wellness.
