Postpartum Doula

Mother, baby, and doula Megan

I offer skillful, warm support to you and your family so that you can feel more ease and connection.

Postpartum, or the 4th trimester, is a season of recovering from birth, bonding and finding new rhythms as a family. It can also be a challenge to adjust to caring for your baby while still prioritizing self care and rest. My hope as a postpartum doula is to help you support you in this transition so it can be filled with more ease, joy and confidence.

Postpartum care can involve respite care for your baby, light housework, meal preparation or running errands. As a licensed massage therapist, I can also incorporate restorative touch to care for the birthing parent.

Postpartum care is $40/hour. Packages of 20 or more hours can be purchased at $35/hour.

“Megan started working with us as a postpartum doula when our daughter was 3 weeks old and I wish we had met her even sooner!

Megan takes incredible care of our daughter, us as new parents (especially as I recovered from a c-section), and so many little things around our home that supported us immensely. Whenever Megan came, my husband and I didn't worry -- a huge compliment. It allowed both of us as new parents to rest for long stretches.

Megan impressed us right away by her attitude and ability to listen and understand how she could be helpful and support us around the house, as well as her genuine care and enjoyment in connecting with our daughter. We knew our daughter was in good, experienced hands. Megan communicated extremely effectively both in asking questions, sharing her experience, and in listening to us -- and remembering all those little details that we shared with her without being reminded, both throughout the shift and when she visited us again for her next shift!

Megan is incredibly proactive; she impressed us so much that we invited her to come support our family indefinitely for as long as Megan had interest/availability. We cannot recommend Megan highly enough!”
